Conviction Upheld for Woman Who Hit and Killed Three Children at Bus Stop

The conviction is being upheld for a woman who hit and killed three children and injured a fourth at a bus stop in Rochester in 2018.

Alyssa Shepherd was convicted of reckless homicide, criminal recklessness, and passing a school bus causing injury.

She was sentenced to four years in prison last year.

Her lawyers appealed, saying the state failed to present evidence that Shepherd acted recklessly, but the appellate court rejected that argument.
