Gibson County Sheriff’s Officials Arrest Two Vincennes People on Separate Occasions

Gibson County Sheriffs Deputies made a pair of arrests in the last few days of Vincennes people following traffic stops.

OnMonday at 11:35 PM, a deputy stopped a 1988 Ford Ranger for speeding on US 41 Near County Road 1250 South. The vehicle was operated by 30-year-old Katie Bowers of Vincennes. Deputies discovered Bowers was wanted on a warrant out of Knox County  during the investigation. Further roadside detective work turned up marijuana, meth, and other paraphernalia. Bowers faces charges of possession of meth, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while suspended with a prior conviction

At 12:12 PM, a 2003 Lincoln was stopped for speeding on Old 41. That Lincoln was operated 35-year-old Aaron Dale Phillips. A search of the vehicle according to officers turned up a syringe and meth. It was also found that Phillips was given false information to officers and was wanted on a felony warrant out of Lawrence County, Illinois.

Both individuals are being held at the Gibson County Jail.
