Gibson County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested two people Thursday after receiving a report of a car in a bean field in the seven thousand block of East 450 South.
Deputies say while speaking with 38-year-old Shannon Sweeney of Francisco, Sweeney implicated herself in the crime of False Reporting and was taken into custody.
It was learned 24-year-old Kaelyn Haire, also of Francisco, was the driver of the vehicle in the bean field.
At the conclusion of the investigation Haire was also taken into custody.
Shannon Sweeney was charged with False Informing.
Haire was charged with Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated, and Neglect of a Dependent
