The young Gibson County woman who police say faked her own kidnapping knew her story would go viral.
Court documents paint a better picture of just what happened when 23-year-old Hannah Potts of rural Princeton told her friends and family that she had been kidnapped.
Gibson County authorities say they found her diary in which she admitted to staging her kidnapping to help write a story.
The diary also says Potts knew her disappearance would go viral.
Potts and the two people who helped her fake her kidnapping, 45-yeaar-old Joshua Thomas and 34-year-old and Maria Hopper, both of rural Princeton, are all facing charges of False Informing.
