The Indiana Department of Transportation says a drainage structure replacement project on State Road 70 near Chrisney will close S.R. 70 from S.R. 245 to S.R. 66 beginning on or around Monday.
INDOT contractors will be excavating the old structure and installing a new one, requiring a full road closure at the site.
During the project, the road will be closed to through traffic.
Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
All others should use the official detour using U.S. 231 and S.R. 66.
Depending on weather conditions work should be complete by the end of November.
