A Pike County student has been honored company for his work with a grand champion market steer. Braden Wilson was recently named by Wyatt Seed Company for his accomplishment at this summer’s Pike County 4-H Beef Show. The award is for being a Purina Top Performer.
The award is based on use of Purina Honor Show Chow and High Octane products for the winning steer. The honor is a youth award for Grand Champion, Reserve Grand Champion, and Breed Champion winners in livestock shows in participating areas.
