Indiana hotels are equipping their staff with new devices to prevent sexual harassment.
Chip Rodgers, President of the American Hotel & Lodging Association, says major hospitality brands are increasingly pledging to use electronic safety devices.
So far, over one-thousand properties in Indiana have deployed the devices, helping protect over 57-thousand hospitality workers.
The small electronics sound a startling alarm and some come with GPS to fit the specific needs of each resort or hotel.
Nationwide, 20-thousand hotels have pledged to the AHLA Five-Star promise, which boosts sexual harassment training and awareness.
