A registered sex offender in Evansville is looking at federal charges that could send him to prison for years.
Evansville police arrested Brian Williamson back in June after neighbors say he approached a young boy.
Officers say he had cookies and a condom in his pocket.
Federal prosecutors yesterday said they intend to file charges against Williamson as well.
He’s due in court on Friday to answer charges of possessing child porn and violating the rules of his release.
