A northern Indiana police dog is dead after a police chase ended in a fiery crash.
It started near the town of Plymouth yesterday afternoon, and ended in Whitley County when deputies and the Indiana State Police used stop-sticks to stop a speeding suspect.
That suspect hit a deputy’s car, and set the car on fire.
The dog was in the back, officers could not get to him in time.
Prosecutors could file formal charges in the case today.
