Sixty Pigs Rescued from Filthy Conditions, Two Facing Charges

Several pig rescue organizations are teaming up to find homes for 60 pigs that were rescued from filthy conditions in Brown County.

The animals were relocated yesterday after a several month-long investigation.

Roy Fish and Penney Carey have been charged with animal cruelty for allegedly leaving dead animals in the living quarters with dozens of animals that were alive.

Indy Pig Rescue officials say the pigs were living in muddy conditions for at least two years.
