Trustees Approve IU Tuition Hike

It’s going to be more expensive for Indiana students to attend Indiana University next fall.

University trustees yesterday approved a two-and-a-half percent tuition increase.

The hike will take tuition at IU to almost 11 thousand-dollars a year.

IU Board Chairman Michael Mirro says the school needs to raise tuition.

Out of state students at IU will pay three percent more next year.
