The City of Vincennes and Republic Services will hold two Large Item Disposal Days on two Saturdays in June. The dates will be on June eighth and June 15th.
The disposals will be from eight to eleven-30 both days at Republic Services’ location on Second Street. The items available for disposal include household furniture, mattresses, large toys, carpeting tied in three foot bundles, and appliances, excluding refrigerators and air conditioners.
Items that won’t be accepted include E-waste, hazardous waste, or appliances containing Freon. Other unacceptable items include batteries, oil or chemical related jugs, or materials containing asbestos.
The disposals are for Vincennes residents only. Some form of photo I-D is required for verification of City residence.
