Three people were arrested in Terre Haute Wednesday evening after a police chase in which a state police trooper’s car was struck by the fleeing vehicle.
The chase began when the trooper spotted a vehicle with expired plates and reported stolen.
The driver of the vehicle, 19-year-old Megan Coleman of Terre Haute is facing preliminary charges of Auto Theft, Child Endangerment, Resisting Law Enforcement, Possession of Methamphetamine, a Syringe, and Paraphernalia, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Driving While Suspended (Prior), Reckless Driving and Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated.
A passenger, 25-year-old Katie Cheesman of Terre Haute is facing charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, a Syringe and paraphernalia, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
21-year-old Jonathon Hemmons of Terre Haute was arrested on a Vigo County warrant for Auto Theft.
18-year- Harleigh Nicholson of Brazil was cited for Possession of Marijuana and Paraphernalia.
