Low Unemployment Rates Continues Across Area

Dubois County still has the area’s lowest unemployment for the month of May. The rate in Dubois County stands at two-point-four percent… a tenth off the state’s lowest rate of two-point-three percent in LaGrange County in northern Indiana.
Martin, Daviess, and Gibson counties are all at two-point-six unemployment for May. Knox County and Pike County both stand at three point one percent unemployment.
Greene and Sullivan Counties are still in the state’s top ten for unemployment. Sullivan County is fourth, at four-point-three percent, while Greene County is fifth, at four percent even.
The unemployment figures were released by the Indiana Department for Workforce Development.
