The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office has identified the driver and passenger of a semi-tractor trailer that crashed into a Sullivan home Sunday night.
The driver, 59-year-old Daryl Shorter of Carlisle, is being treated for internal injuries and a broken leg at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.
His passenger, 23-year-old Caleb Hancock of Carlisle, was treated for injuries at Terre Haute Regional Sunday night and released.
Toxicology reports on the two men are pending.
The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office says Shorter was driving with a suspended driver’s license at the time of the crash.
The semi-tractor trailer crashed into a home at 758 West Washington in Sullivan around 8:00 PM Sunday, rendering the home unlivable.
No one inside the home was injured.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
Sheriff Clark Cottom says once the investigation is completed, investigators will forward their findings to the Sullivan County Prosecutor for review.
