Carroll County sheriff’s officials are looking for a man seen walking on the trail where two young teenagers were found murdered.
They’ve released a picture of a middle-aged white man who was on the Delphi Historic Trails on Monday afternoon.
That’s the same time 14-year-old Liberty German and 13-year-old Abigail Williams went missing.
Their bodies were found on Tuesday in a remote area near the banks of Deer Creek.
The case is being investigated as a double homicide, but it’s not clear yet how the girls died.
Anyone who can help identify the man is urged to call the sheriff’s department or Delphi police.
Officials say the two girls were dropped off at the abandoned railroad bridge Monday afternoon and when family arrived later to pick them up, they weren’t there.
